What are we up to?
First
and foremost, Sarah Beatty is a producer—and has been since she
left Colorado State University more than ten years ago with a diploma
and a dream: to get a job in TV. She's been in the business ever since.
Sarah has worked in television news, producing live TV at all hours of the day and night, through shipwrecks, T-REX and Y2K. She's worked in some pretty nice joints, too: Medford and Portland, Oregon, and Denver.
Soon, it became apparent that multimedia was “where it's
at.” At least it was in 2000, when Sarah went to work for
an educational publishing company as a multimedia producer. She
worked on scores of projects, big and small, interesting and...
well, educational.
Most importantly, she perfected the art (and what a tricky art it is) of building budgets: budgets that worked, budgets that were lean and realistic, budgets that always held up in the end.
These days, Sarah is up to lots of wonderful projects through her company, HiJinx Productions. She created HiJinx to put all of her production skills to good use for anyone in need of video and a great producer.
She's also spending a lot of time promoting and growing the Colorado production industry as the president of the Colorado Film & Video Association, and as a board member of the Colorado Film Commission.

Jinx
is the name (and face) behind HiJinx Productions. She's a hugely energetic
red and white Boston Terrier who will bowl you over with her enthusiasm
for life. Her contributions to HiJinx Productions include sounding the
alarm when the mailman or UPS guy arrives, patrolling the floor for crumbs,
snoring during her frequent under-the-desk naps, and bringing levity to
any situation-no matter how tight the deadline might be. |
